The business submits an application through the Monshaat online portal, providing necessary details and documents such as the Commercial Registration (CR), employee count, and revenue records.

Monshaat verifies the submitted data to ensure accuracy. This includes cross-checking CR details, validating workforce size, and reviewing revenue levels against SME classification thresholds.

Based on the verified information, the company is officially classified into one of the SME categories: micro, small, or medium enterprise.

Once approved, Monshaat issues the SME certificate digitally, which businesses can download and use in official dealings.

The certificate must be renewed periodically to remain valid. Renewal ensures the business continues to meet SME requirements and remains eligible for government benefits.
