Standard Employment Visa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the one most people use. It\u2019s valid for generally 2\u20133 years and mostly your company sponsors it. It\u2019s tied to your job. If you leave the company, you need to cancel it or transfer it. Most companies in the mainland go with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-green-visa\">2. Green Visa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A green visa is valid for 5 years, also you don\u2019t need a company to sponsor for you. It&#8217;s made for freelancers, self-employed folks, and skilled professionals. To qualify, you usually need a degree and a decent salary (around AED 15,000+\/month). You can also bring your family with you, and if you lose your job, you\u2019ve got a 6-month grace period to stay in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-golden-visa\">3. Golden Visa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This one\u2019s for high-tier people like investors, scientists, top talent, etc. Valid for 5 or 10 years. It\u2019s self-sponsored and gives a lot of perks: multiple entries, stay outside UAE for more than 6 months, sponsor family, and more. But the eligibility is strict, usually AED 2M+ property investment or serious credentials in medicine, science, or entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dubai-visa-employment-requirements\">Dubai Visa Employment Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for a work visa, you will be needing following documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Passport<\/strong> \u2013 valid for 6+ months with blank pages<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Passport photos<\/strong> \u2013 white background<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment contract<\/strong> \u2013 Arabic and English, signed<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Entry permit<\/strong> \u2013 given by MoHRE or a free zone<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Medical test results<\/strong> \u2013 HIV, TB check from a UAE clinic<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Attested degree or certificate<\/strong> \u2013 must be stamped by UAE and home country authorities<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emirates ID application<\/strong> \u2013 you have to do this once you&#8217;re in the UAE<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proof of salary<\/strong> \u2013 only needed for Green visa (AED 15,000+)<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trade license copy<\/strong> \u2013 your employer provides this<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-by-step-how-the-visa-process-works\">Step-by-Step: How the Visa Process Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-1-entry-permit\">Step 1 \u2013 Entry Permit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your company first applies for a work permit and an entry visa. Once it gets approved, you will receive a pink visa which is valid for 60 days. This lets you legally enter the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-2-arrive-in-uae\">Step 2 \u2013 Arrive in UAE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You enter UAE with the entry permit. Then the in-country process starts. Most companies will already have it planned out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-3-medical-test\">Step 3 \u2013 Medical Test<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You go for medical screening: blood tests for HIV\/hepatitis and a chest X-ray for TB. It has to be done at a government-approved clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-4-emirates-id\">Step 4 \u2013 Emirates ID<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You book a biometric appointment, they take your fingerprints, scan your photo, and start the ID application. This ID is mandatory for everything that you do in the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-5-visa-stamping\">Step 5 \u2013 Visa Stamping<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once everything\u2019s cleared, your passport is stamped with the residency visa. This usually takes 2\u20134 weeks. You also get your Emirates ID around the same time.
